Frequently asked questions
- What notes are in the Ddim chord?
- Ddim is made of D, F, G♯ — the root, minor 3rd, flat 5th of D.
- Is Ddim hard to play?
- Ddim is an awkward shape — x 5 6 7 6 x asks your fingers to stretch across 4 strings at different frets. Building up to it slowly, or dropping to the root and 5th until your hand is stronger, both work as stepping stones.
