Files You Upload

CapoChart.com stores uploaded files, filenames, page previews, chart settings, corrections, and generated exports on its servers so the service can detect chords, show previews, apply transpositions, and create exports. Uploaded files are not sold and are not used to train machine learning models.

Authorized site operators may review stored charts, their detected chords, corrections, and results to troubleshoot problems and improve the service.

Service Quality Data

When quality logging is enabled, we record chart uploads, processing errors, detection confidence, processing time, transposition settings, chord edits, and export requests. These events can be linked to the stored chart so operators can understand where the results need improvement.

Upload records also include the type of app or browser, the referring website host, and a pseudonymous identifier derived from the connection's IP address. The quality log stores this identifier rather than the IP address itself. Hosting and security logs may separately contain the technical data described below.

Technical Data

We may collect standard technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, timestamps, errors, and service logs to run, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the service.

Third-Party Services

If analytics, hosting, security, or advertising services are enabled, those providers may process standard technical data according to their own terms and privacy policies.
